Question #1: What separate HCSS Products and what portions of the Vizzn Platform are you using?
We use the following separate HCSS products: Heavyjob, Fueler Plus and E360. Within the single Vizzn software we use dispatch and scheduling, interactive drawings, quality control, extra billings, job scheduler and safety forms.
Question #2: What is the difference between Vizzn and HCSS products?
In one sentence, Vizzn provides proactive construction management solutions that help contractors optimize tomorrow while HCSS provides software for bidding and tracking that enable users to analyze the results of yesterday. Both functions are necessary and a key part of Borger’s operations.
Question #3: Some contractors are reluctant to consider a new software saying “we don’t want multiple construction software systems” what do you say to this?
First, HCSS is not one software but a bunch of separate software packages. And, those packages rely on a ‘limited user seat system” that makes it uncommon for a user in Heavyjob to also have a seat in e360 or fueler plus and vise versa. As a result, transparency between divisions is limited.

HeavyJob, E360 and Fuelerplus provide historical “accounting information” that has limited value in visibility towards tomorrow.
Question #6: What feature do you like the most of the software programs you currently use?
Vizzn's dispatch service is world-class and is the only program that provides complete visibility across our organization. A real-world example of how we use Vizzn is when we execute a mechanic event the dispatch team, transport team, mechanic team, site foreman/superintendent - along with anyone else that finds this one event a critical part of their daily job, gets notified through the Vizzn App. This saves us countless hours of phone calls and keeps everyone updated on the status of the event including the date the equipment will be placed back in service. Vizzn provides us with constant communication on the status and location of all the equipment (and rentals) in the Borger fleet.
Question #7: If you had to choose one software would it be HCSS or Vizzn?
Bidding, job costing and time keeping – provided by HCSS is a definitely a critical part of running a successful construction company. On the other hand, not knowing when (or if) equipment, materials, gravel, or fuel is arriving to each site is insanity. I think both products are necessary and work exceptionally well in synergy; Vizzn’s suite of tools in conjunction with Heavybid, Heavyjob and E360 currently make a perfect match.
