Business Development Representative - US Sales Team

Description

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Business Development Representative will play a key role in managing the US Sales team’s prospect records to ensure a high level of contact and company accuracy, adding new records, and contacting records through daily phone and email activity. The Business Development Representative will also work closely with our CRO and CEO to schedule appointments and note all activity in the Vizzn CRM.

You will create a positive first impression with our prospects and customers by proving them with "world-class" experience. You will complete initial qualification of potential sales opportunities for approval and assignment to the appropriate Vizzn personnel. You maintain a sense of urgency and rapid response cadence in following up on all inbound inquires and marketing leads. You are a strong performer and set the bar high.

A successful candidate ideally enjoys engaging with customers and prospects by phone and is interested in technology/software solutions.  Has interest in helping develop the future of a company and is fully vested in personal and professional growth.

Job Responsibilities: What you will do
  • Learn the Vizzn product and key personas that would be interested in our services.
  • Demonstrate the Vizzn solution at a high-level through webinar engagements.
  • Cold calling and identifying key prospects throughout North America.
  • Appointment setting – schedule calls and product demonstrations for C-Level engagement.
  • Work with the Vizzn team to ensure the most efficient process for leads distribution and appointment scheduling activities that are completed in a highly professional and effective manner to optimize lead flow distribution.
  • Overcome objections and provide solutions based on company needs.
  • Manage, research, and update CRM records and log all activity.
  • Determine accuracy of existing prospect lead information within records; research and update contact and company information on records as needed for efficient prospecting activities.
  • Add new prospect records to include correct company and contact information via lists provided by the CRO or obtained through research and use of database tools.
  • Assist with sales presentations as needed.
  • Multi-task efficiently through multiple assigned duties simultaneously, moving from management of records, phone calls to prospect lead research, appointment scheduling, completing new email correspondence and responses to internal and external emails.
  • Be thorough and accurate in all your work.
  • Deliver results promptly.
  • Demonstrate your initiative by identifying areas for process improvement and optimization of lead sources.
  • Perform other activities as needed to achieve the team and company goals.
Qualifications: What you need to bring
  • Strong computer skills, experience using various software platforms including Salesforce and HubSpot preferred.
  • Ability to make 70+ phone engagements per day – cold calling sales acumen
  • Ability to successfully work and navigate within a variety of computer systems applications.
  • Prior experience maintaining prospect account information, calls, setting callbacks, email communication, follow-up meetings, and training activities within a CRM.
  • Comfortable using and learning new technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Achieve assigned KPI’s related to call volume and appointment setting.
  • Possess a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in establishing priorities and when to shift assignments and responsibilities as necessary to cover prospect contact, follow-up engagements and online demos.
  • Professional work ethic and ability to work independently, while simultaneously supporting a team of highly productive Vizzn employees.
  • Ability to take ownership, operate with transparency, and focus on producing exceptional results.
  • Ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals within all organizational levels.

  • Prefer individuals with industry knowledge of the heavy construction industry.
  • Cold calling/call-center experience is required.
